– A base of Type 1 MOT or crushed hardcore, compacted
– Followed by a layer of grano dust or sharp sand for levelling
3. Lay a Weed Membrane
Stops weeds coming through and keeps your lawn maintenance-free.
4. Roll Out the Artificial Grass
Let it settle for 2–4 hours before trimming and securing.
5. Trim to Fit and Join Rolls (If Needed)
Use a sharp knife and join with jointing tape & adhesive for a seamless finish.
6. Pin Down the Edges
Use U-pins or nail the grass edges to treated timber perimeter boards.
7. Brush the Pile Up
Use a stiff brush or power broom to lift the fibres and add finishing touches.
